Alisen McLeod
Alisen has been involved with many choirs throughout her life in Brisbane. In 1987, she joined her first choir, the Imogen Children's Chorale, where she sang from the age of 7 till age 18. After high-school Alisen studied at the University of Queensland and completed a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education. During her university study Alisen sang with many different groups, a university group called Concentus, the Imogen Community Choir, the Friends of Chinese Youth Choir, and the Queensland Kodaly Youth Choir.
Since graduating, Alisen has worked in both state and private schools as a primary school music teacher. She currently works at a private school on the Gold Coast, just south of Brisbane.
Alisen is a newly returned member of NYCA. She was a member for the 1999 tour of New Zealand and the 2000 season in Melbourne.
