A word from David Hill...

A word from our international patron:

“I often think of the wonderful time I had making music with NYCA in Melbourne last July and have enjoyed the YouTube footage of the concerts. What impressed me most about the NYCA was the level of ability and commitment which all the singers brought to the week and I have no doubt it will be similar in 2017. We are in global turmoil in many ways: yet, the power of music has a unique way of communicating unity and togetherness nothing else can equal. I am delighted to be associated with NYCA, sing as one voice and continue to make the world a better place as a result!”

NYCA and the Australian Cultural Fund

We are asking you to support the National Youth Choir of Australia recordings appeal via the Australian Cultural Fund this End of Financial Year. You can be one of our major donors. Your tax-deductible contribution will mean we'll be able to preserve this year's season for posterity, not to mention share NYCA with the world!

If you are unable to attend a performance in person, video and audio recordings will be posted on YouTube which will be a fantastic way for you to still be part of NYCA 2017.

This season is very special as it will include works from our 2017 Composition Competition. The winner will receive the Ralph Morton Memorial Prize to acknowledge the late Ralph Morton who was a founder and previous director of NYCA.

Will you give our recording wings? We are seeking your support to give our singers the biggest wings possible – these are Australia’s professional singers of the future. Let’s hear them!
