The National Youth Choir of Australia (NYCA) brings together the best young adult singers from across Australia in a unique choral ensemble. This vibrant choir meets for a limited time each year to rehearse and perform a wide variety of sacred and secular music, working with renowned local and international conductors. NYCA seasons frequently feature premières of new Australian choral music, including works composed by choir members.
NYCA gives outstanding young musicians a valuable professional development opportunity, with choristers extending their skills at a high level with peers from across Australia, in an exceptional ensemble. Exploring new music, working together and pushing choral boundaries is an experience not to be missed!
NYCA's 2010 Season Announced
NYCA will take Adelaide by storm in July 2010, led by acclaimed UK youth choral conductor Mike Brewer, renowned for his energetic and creative approach to choral music-making.
