High Places
Celebrating 10 years of excellence in choral music, NYCA has released its first CD - High Places - a beautiful collection of sacred and secular music showcasing Australia's finest composers and singers. High Places also features works from the great choral composers such as Rheinberger, Tallis, Stanford and Howells.
The conductors Graeme Morton and Noel Ancell each worked with the ensemble for 10 days before recording their respective season and so, the music is none other than passionate and vibrant with touches of purity and brilliance.
Recorded at the Shore School, North Sydney and St John's Church, Adelaide the album captures the exuberance of this unique and talented group during two seasons held in 2004.
