The Inaugural Ralph Morton Memorial Composition Competition

Following last night's flagship concert in which all 3 finalists of the Ralph Morton Memorial Award were performed, we are thrilled to announce the competition winner as William Yaxley for his composition The Catacombs.

The standard of all entries in this inaugural competition was extremely high, and we look forward to making a further announcement regarding our next call for entries in due course.

We are delighted to announce the 3 finalists of the Ralph Morton Memorial Award for our inaugural composition competition. The three pieces will be workshopped during the Brisbane residential season, with the winner announced at NYCA's finale concert at St John's Cathedral Brisbane on Saturday the 8th of July.  Congratulations Daniel, Clare and William!
